中美草地畜牧业可持续研究中心20142015年度工作总结

Annual working report of Sino-USDA Center for grazingland ecosystem and restoration 2014-2015

2014-2015年, 中美中心根据工作计划一如既往的开展技术合作,科技交流,人员培养和企业对接等方面的合作。同时,在中美中心这个平台上,有更多的美国科研机构、大学不断加入到中美合作交流的项目当中。 中心通过举办研讨会,中外专家交流、组织考察学习,共同开展合作研究,培养研究生等活动,不断促进中心功能的发挥。 2014年有来自9个不同机构的十多位美国专家、教授来中国访问和工作,在工作的内容和工作的实际效果上都有了明显的提升。 开展的合作项目有5项,共同培养研究生8名,有一名团队成员赴美国犹他大学研修。中美中心发挥了牵线搭桥、促进交流、共同发展的桥梁作用。现就各方面的工作汇报如下:

The center has been functioning in high constructive way according to the plan for the year of 2014- 2015, at the same times, the center is continuing to provides the platform for the communication and cooperative activities between two countries in animal science and ruminant production technologies. In the year of 2014 to 2015, the center has invited over 10 experts from USDA-ARS system, universities and other organizations from US. They worked on different cooperative projects with Chinese counterparts with the focus on ruminant production technology and straw utilization. The center also facilitated communications and cooperation between companies, regional government of two countries. In the year of 2014, the center has organized the workshop on sustainable ruminant production system and its quality products which led wide range of communication and links among the scientists from two countries.  There were 8 graduates being involved in 5 cooperative projects, their research and thesis have been instructed by American professors. The following paragraphs are the list of the activities the center has been implemented:

一、专家来访 visiting experts from US

1 20145月,犹他州立大学Norton教授访问十大彩票正规投注平台,对放牧草地生产管理进行了考察,并做报告;

Professor Norton from Utah State University visit GAU and other institute in China in May 2014. Professor Norton is well-known rangeland Scientist. He worked with the experts from GAU, Lanzhou university, and other institutes of China on rangeland management technologies, he was also working with Ph.D and graduates in desighning research project in rangeland management and monitoring methodologies.

2 20149月,Dr Michael A Brown、伊利诺伊大学 SUN-Weilin教授访问十大彩票正规投注平台,为研究生讲授专业英语、生物统计及实验设计等课程,为硕博士研究生分析试验数据并进行实验设计;

Dr. Weiling Sun from Illinois university visit GAU for cooperative project on fat depot and its regulatory mechanism. At the same times, he was also delivering lectures on RNA-Siq technology and its application.

3 20144月,美国瑞科动物营养公司技术总监Delmer Davis博士访问十大彩票正规投注平台,赴金昌、张掖考察玉米秸秆饲料化研究及推广工作进展,并与金昌市达成了建立现代草食畜产业示范园建设意向.

Dr. Del David visited GAU in April 2014, he was invited by the center in conducting demonstration project in straw utilization and extension. He agreed to set up an demonstration zoon in Jinchang city of Gansu province introducing the technologies and products in treating straw and other aftermath of cropping.

4 20148,在金昌共同举办“现代草食畜牧业可持续发展技术支撑与创新研讨会”,同时,美国瑞科动物营养公司给予了大力支持和资助。 技术总监Delmer I Davis博士、德克萨斯州立农工大学Joseph W Holloway教授、Charse R Long教授、南达科塔州立大学David P Casper 教授、德克萨斯州奶牛协会会长 David Moore先生、德克萨斯州奶牛养殖场总裁Scott H. Ball先生、德克萨斯州晨星农业公司总裁Don W. De Vries先生;

In the year of 2014, the center has organized the workshop on sustainable ruminant production system and its quality products which was supported by Ralco Nutrition of US. Over 25 foreign guests participated, among whom, 7 were from America experts from seven institutes and universities presented in the workshop including professor Charles Long and Bill Holloway from A&M Texas, professor David Casper from south Dakota university, Mr. David Moore from High land dairy chancel nof Texas, Del Davis from Ralco nutrition.

5 20149月,美国瑞科动物营养公司技术总监Delmer I Davis博士和Joseph W Holloway教授来十大彩票正规投注平台访问,对燕麦高湿打捆、苜蓿青贮制作、TMR饲料质量控制等开展了具体指导,并赴金昌考察项目区,初步达成和金瑞公司合作在金昌市建立美国瑞科动物营养公司金昌实验室的合作意向和生产高效土壤微生物菌肥的意向。.

Dr. Del Davis and Professor Bill Holloway visited Gansu in September, as the representative of the Ralco nutrition, they discussed the possibility of business cooperation between Ralco and Jinrui company of Jinchang city on the business of producing high tech products treating straw. At the same times, Ralco nutrition also signed agreement of understanding in setting up jointed company producing bacterial catalytic fertilizer.

 

6 20153-4月期间, Michael A Brown教授、David P Casper教授、Delmer I Davis博士和Joseph W Holloway教授先后来十大彩票正规投注平台访问,对合作开展的反刍动物脂肪沉积规律及调控研究、北方作物秸秆饲用化利用及营养品质调控研究、利用可见/近红外光谱分析技术开展北方反刍家畜生产体系要素模型库建立研究等开展研讨。

Professor David Casper and Dr. Michael Brwon from USDA-ARS worked in GAU in March and April of 2015, they were working on the project of fat depot mechanism of ruminants under nutritional stress process, in addition, they were working on chemical analysis of feeds using NIR technology.

二、合作项目 ongoing cooperative projects

通过中美中心平台,不断拓展中美草地畜牧业可持续发展研究合作的技术领域,目前中美双方专家开展合作的项目主要包括:

1)牛羊优良种质资源选育与高效循环、品质化生产技术体系—国内项目

Genetic research on indigenous breeds of sheep and cattle and its application

2)甘肃省典型农区肉牛生产体系优化研究与应用—国内项目

Typical cropping-livestock farming system in north western China

3)北方作物秸秆饲用化利用及营养品质调控-supported partially by Ralco Nutrition

Treatment and utilization of the straw in ruminants production

4)利用可见/近红外光谱分析技术开展北方反刍家畜生产体系要素模型库建立—美方资助

NIR technology application in feeds quality and ration monitoring supported by Ralco nutrition

三、国际研讨会—workshop

20148月中美中心联合金昌市政府、十大彩票正规投注平台、中国农科院兰州畜牧与兽药研究所以及几家草食家畜生产企业在甘肃金昌举办了“现代草食畜牧业可持续发展技术支撑与创新研讨会”。研讨会吸引了来自中外养殖企业、政府单位、科研院所等近400人参加,对中美在草地畜牧业可持续发展领域的合作与交流产生了很好的作用。

In august of 2014, the center together with Ralco nutrition and Jinchang city government organized a workshop of sustainable ruminant production system and its quality products, in which over 400 participants from China presented.

 

四、人才培养—training and education

中美中心在2014-2015年间,先后邀请有关外国专家给相关专业的硕博士研究生讲授有关草业和动物科学课程三门类,累计达80学时,参与硕博士研究生200余人次,指导修改并发表论文10篇,指导12名硕博士研究生开展研究和完成论文,同时又为8名研究生的试验进行了设计和论证。

the experts from US institutes and university delivered 3 courses related to rangeland science and animal science in which over 200 graduates participated.  In addition, 12 graduates were supervised and 8 graduates received intensive instruction in design of their research projects for the thesis.

 

五、企业对接 facilitating business and providing consulting services

1)中美中心牵线搭桥,由美国瑞科动物营养公司提供技术支撑在金昌市成立了“中美现代草食畜产业技术金川示范园”;

Setting up the demonstration zoon of Sino-US beef technology in Jinchang city with the support from Ralco Nutrition.

2)美国瑞科动物营养公司计划在金昌建立“美国瑞科-中国动物营养实验室”;

Setting up Ralco-China animal nutrition libratory in Gansu.

3)促成甘肃华瑞农业股份有限公司与美国德克萨斯州高原奶牛协会合作;

Facilitating the cooperation between Huarui company and high plain dairy cancel of Texas

4)促成甘肃省代表团赴美国德克萨斯州考察并与德克萨斯州立农工大学签订意向性合作协议。

Facilitated and organized Gansu delegation visiting Texas, as the result, a cooperation and education agreement of memorandum between Gansu provincial government and Texas government was singed .

六、取得成果—achievements

2014年由中美专家共同参与实施的3项项目通过甘肃省科学技术厅项目验收,发表研究论文10篇,申报技术发明专利和实用新型专利共3

3 cooperative projects were evaluated by the special panel organized by the bureau of science and technology, 10 SCI paper were published. 3 patent of straw treatment and feeds management were regestered or approved.

七、2015-2016年的工作计划 -Working plan for the year of 2015-2016

(一)、拟开展的合作研究项目-cooperative Research projects planned:

1、牛羊优良种质资源选育与品质化生产技术体系—Selection and utilization of indigenous ruminants (sheep and cattle) genetics for the quality products and sustainable production

主要工作内容和目标-Project Content and objectives:

针对我国特有牛羊优良种质资源,重点研究抗逆性、适应性等遗传性状,以及相关肉、奶、毛(绒)等畜产品品质性状,应用分子生物学及遗传学技术,研究控制和影响这些性状的功能基因、SNPs及分子调控通道与机理。应用现代数量遗传学、分子遗传学和生物信息学技术,通过引进与合作研究,建立牛羊优良种质选育系统,包括GBLUP系统,Bayesian variable selection 模型。

开发农作物秸秆饲料化技术和产品和新型饲料资源;研究青贮发酵微生态优化技术,研究益生菌筛选与生产技术,使农作物秸秆变成为优良饲草料,消化率达到60%以上,发展节粮畜牧业。研究和引进牛羊高效循环、品质化生产技术,通过生物化学和分子生物学技术,标识纯天然优质牛羊肉产品,促进牛羊产业发展。提高秸秆资源利用率,饲料化率,改善营养品质,进一步提高农业高效循环与环境友好生产技术。共同培养研究生,力争取得多项专利。

The project will study important economic traits and fitness of indigenous breeds of sheep and cattle including yak in north China. The objective of the project to better understands of indigenous breeds of sheep and cattle so that efficient breeding program for sustainable livestock production may be formed, especially the fitness of the indigenous breeds resists to high fiber feeding resource of aftermath of agricultural.

2、“中国典型农区肉牛生产体系优化研究与应用”Optimization of beef production system in typical agricultural region of North China

主要工作任务和目标-Project Content and objectives

突破、创新甘肃典型农区肉牛生产体系项目的关键技术和理论;形成一套完整的从秸秆饲料化品质调控、品质育肥、营养管理及监控、循环畜牧业、健康养殖评价等完整的产业技术方法和配套理论体系;促进甘肃农区草食畜牧业向高效、安全、优质方向发展;培育学科发展的前瞻性方向及引领学科发展的领军人才。

The focus of the project is to Break through the key technology of straw treatment and utilization as the quality feeds so as to form the guidance of high efficiency, high quality, and high environment standard of ruminant industry and rangeland production system. The center will also aim to train the high qualified and backbone scientists in rangeland science and animal science.

(二)、学术交流—Workshops

拟于20158月在甘肃河西走廊召开“中国北方草食畜产业高效、品质、循环生产技术研讨会”

The workshop of strategies of efficient and quality Ruminants production in northwest China wil be hold in Hexi Corridor an ancient silk road region

of Gansu.
